Sarah Temporal is a prize-winning poet and educator living on Bundjalung lands. Her work combines the immediacy of slam poetry with finely-honed craft and sensitivity. She is the winner of the Bunker Slam 2021 and the Nimbin World Cup 2018, and has performed at and hosted poetry events Australia-wide. A passionate advocate of the spoken-word, her work often deconstructs traditional stories to explore experiences of birth, death, illness, and mothering. Sarah initiated and runs Poets Out Loud, a community arts initiative which empowers people of all ages through the spoken word. She looks forward to releasing her debut poetry collection.
