Hello dear poets and poetry lovers,
Wearing my Sydney Jewish Writers Festival hat now to let you know about an event this Wednesday night June 7 at Urban Winery Sydney that will most certainly interest you. It’s all about spoken words and story and features our very well known Poetica poet Olatundji Akpo-Sani, visiting US storyteller Noa Baum and Yuwaalaraay storyteller and performer Nardi Simpson. It’s a big night and the theme is all about how story can build bridges and inspire empathy and understanding. A very Poetica-ish night.

Hi Miriam I am glad to see the Jewish Writers Festival is underway. You mentioned there would be a section for poetry. As I have written several poems with a specific Jewish theme I would like to participate in the poetry panel. Regards Mike Leibowitz
