Hello poets and poetry lovers. October is upon us which means the days are longer and the nights are brighter and the verandah awaits our gorgeous presence. Join us October 19 for a night of words at Woollahra Gallery at Redleaf downstairs in the Cultural Hub. This month our features are both visiting poets from afar. Poet and comedian Jeff Cottrill (Canada) and poet and songwriter Paul R Kohn (South Australia) are on their Decent Beings national tour and Poetica is so pleased to have them on our dance-card. See their bios below. Also this month, with Miriam on foreign shores, your MC for the night is the marvellous Olatundji Akpo-Sani. The open mic is as per usual. Show up and throw your name in the hat. Wine, kombucha and cheese. Gonna be another night of all that feels right in the world.
