Plus Poetica favourite Ilan Kidron returns for a musical set to set the night in motion. Of course there’s the open mic and I’ll try to surprise you with something delicious to nosh on.

Caroline Reid is an award-winning poet & performer of Welsh-Irish descent living in Adelaide on Kaurna land. Caroline found her feet as a writer in theatre and has since developed a diverse writing and performance practice. Highlights include performing at the Sydney Opera House in the Australian Poetry Slam finals and publishing her first collection SIARAD in print and audio with Spineless Wonders imprint ES-Press in 2020. SIARAD won second prize in the Poetry Book Awards (UK) and Caroline adapted it for theatre, performing it as a one-woman spoken word show.
Caroline’s poetry has turned up in journals, been nominated for ‘Best of the Net’ and won a few prizes including the Mslexia Poetry Prize and Woollahra Digital Poetry Award. Storytelling, dark humour and a whiff of rage are at the heart of all her art.
Ilan Kidron is an award-winning singer-songwriter. He is best known for his role as frontman for multi-Platinum, multi-APRA winning electronic group ‘The Potbelleez’. Ilan is also an in-demand co-writer and producer. As a songwriter, he has over one billion combined streams and Billboard Number 1s, having written for Rita Ora, Ricky Martin, Jessica Mauboy, Chance The Rapper, Chris Brown, Sesame Street, Tina Arena, Timmy Trumpet, Kygo, Hayden James, Ricki Lee Coulter, Eurovision and many others…
He also fronts the band, Glassbreakers which has become a tight, energetic powerhouse of party brilliance, performing breathtaking new takes on old world classics and wicked twists.
