Hello everyone. March is here and that means we are well and truly into the year 2025. Poetica is hosting a few events this March and all the details are below. Hope you can join us!
March 7 – Poems as Prompts – International Women’s Day special at Clovelly & Co. – Join us for a cup of tea, a guided meditation, and of course some poems as prompts for writing our own poems. The poems this month will all be by women poets to celebrate IWD. Book here: https://events.humanitix.com/poems-as-prompts-writing-workshop-4
March 20 – Poetica Petit feat. Noelia Ramon + Gabriella Mordecai – A night of firsts. Noelia Ramon has been a Poetica attendee for some time and it brings us great joy to be able to host the pre-launch of her first book The Man in the Photograph — the first of many, she hopes — published by 5 Islands Press. Gabriella Mordecai first performed at Poetica’s Bob Dylan tribute in February 2020 when she sang a duet with her father. This will be her first solo performance at Poetica. March 25 – Sam Joole – live & acoustic at Clovelly & Co. – We are thrilled to welcome singer-songwriter and all round music man Sam Joole for a night in acoustic mode. This will be an evening of original songs for voice, guitar, piano and ambient sound loops. It will also include imagery, projections and video collage.
