February – we are in 2026 for real now! And what better way to really dive in but with poetry, writing, album listening and gathering together. The next two months are bursting with creativity. If you’re looking for a little discipline in your creative output check out The Artist’s Way online workshop – a 13 week course led by me (Miriam) and the incomparable Vashti Whitfield. We start March 4 and limited spots so get on to it.

Then on March 12 at Poetica Petit at Woollahra Gallery, we are bringing back The Alphabet of Women to celebrate International Women’s Day. EIGHT of the Alphabet will be joining us for a retrospective on the book, the poems, womanhood and words.

But before all that, we still have February‘s three offerings – this Tuesday Feb 10 we have A Whole Album – The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill – nominated by Apple Music as the best album EVER! Come listen to the whole album, no interruptions, best sound and a little history lesson from audiophile and music lover Guy.

On Feb 19 it’s Poetica Petit LOVE night with the open mic and on Feb 20 it’s Poems as Prompts in person and on Zoom. Gonna try and include more folks.
