My dear friends of Poetica Last one for the year! Going out with a bang! The incomparable David Bowie and his alter ego Ziggy Stardust. Tickets nearly sold out. I woke up this morning and it was the River that spoke to me. And Edward Hirsch. Sometimes it’s like that. A body of water and a poet. Guiding me to the poems. So that’s where we went. Down the river. Prompting us to write our own. Remembering with @joyharjoforreal . Our mothers. Their mothers. Their mothers. Our fathers too. Book launch at @bondibowlo for Murray Cox. Congratulations!!! Final Poems as Prompts THIS FRIDAY! Enormous congratulations to Poetica regular and dare we say one of our favourite poets and people @oormila_paintings 💕on her residency at @woollahralibraries . It is really happening. Poetica is traveling to @woodfordfolkfestival ! We are in the actual factual program. 🙌🏼 If you’re gonna be there join me for poetry workshops and breakfast readings and the whole hoopla festival! Bring in the new year on planet Woodford. Celebrate Poetica 2025: Events to Write, Perform and Connect Nite writes. Nite rites. Write night. Right nights.
