ASHA NAZNIN, the ‘Queen of Quirky’ poetry is now here in Sydney! After having a successful launching of her debut poetry collection ‘Lover, Where Are Your Eyes?’ in Canberra, the much awaited Sydney launch will be with the Poetica at the Woollahra Gallery. She will be performing her brand new poetry along with some of her all-time favourites by the audience. Asha has been featured at Manning Clark House, Girls on Key, Tuggeranong Arts Centre, and Poetry on the Move, Smith’s Alternative, Australia Day etc. Asha is a scientist and social scientist with two bachelors degrees from ANU. She works in the cybersecurity industry. In her spare time, apart from poetry performances, Asha likes to pretend to be a fortune teller, a backyard singer, and a relationship advisor. Rumour has it that her first piano teacher ran away due to her terrible sense of rhythm. So Lovers, Broken-hearts and Heart-breakers – an evening for all, not to miss out, over a drink.

LILY B – Upon relocating from the bush capital Canberra, to Sydney’s bustling music scene, Lily B has wasted no time in immersing her vibrant sound amongst the excitement of the city. After playing an abundance of gigs in her hometown with her former indie pop band ‘Muesli’, Lily has embarked on a solo project and is taking her performance to a new level.
Lily has had the opportunity to play alongside the likes of Mahalia Barnes and Jessica Mauboy, Y.O.G.A (Rueben Styles of Peking Duk), Rum Jungle, Between You and Me and Tim Rogers. Now, she is ready to seek a challenge and is beginning to wriggle her way into a new, big and busy music scene.
With her love for a broad range of genres, Lily’s craft has stepped into a soul-stirring, energetic and heartfelt space, creating anthems for the world to soon know and love. Watch Lily’s movements to see her make waves in Sydney’s wondrous musical world and also stick around for her debut single which will be yours to keep in the next little while.
