As we close out on April and farewell many public holidays and warmer days, the colder and shorter days are upon us – but perhaps that’s more time for writing, reading and nourishing our inner worlds? It’s not too late to join us tonight for Nite Writes – I bring the prompts – you bring the words. If not – there’s lots more coming up – see here!

There is something about sitting and writing in community. It’s a different kind of writing experience – the discipline of time, the engagement with participants, the sounds of writing, and the opportunity to share words with others. Miriam will bring a selection of poems, literary excerpts and other creative tools to this session. There will be quiet writing time and then a chance to share your work. And repeat.
Join us for a cup of tea and let’s write. Book here:

Join us at this one off new time of 11.30am-1.30pm. Miriam will bring a selection of poems to this session. She will read a poem aloud and then participants choose a ‘golden line’ or theme or form from the poem to prompt them to write their own poem. Then there is quiet writing time. Then a chance to share your poem. Then on to the next poem. And repeat.
