THREE WOMEN – March 18 at Camelot

THIS Friday night at Camelot. Marking Women’s Day this month with a special concert in the round, this unmissable night will feature award-winning singer/songwriter Miriam Lieberman as well as soulful songstress Alexi Kaye. Their music will interspersed with spoken word by Miriam Hechtman – writer and founder of the poetry movement: Poetica. Miriam Lieberman sings and plays the kora – 21 stringed African harp. “ All lilting folk tunes overlaid with sprightly Kora (West African harp) playful strings as though Joni Mitchel and Paul Simon had convened in a Bamako back street“ (The Guardian).
With her warm soulful voice & classic rhodes keyboard grooves Alexi ’s songs take us to the heart of things. Unmissable.
