This Thursday night we are trying something a little different. Call it Spring silliness, October operatics, Poetic peculiarities, we have decided that it might be fun to read aloud our favourite song lyrics at the open mic. But before we do that we have two brilliant features – both singer songwriters with new albums on the horizon. We are thrilled to welcome back Huck Hastings and Miriam Lieberman to the Poetica stage. They will sing us a few tunes, some new ones too, and then have a chat with Poetica’s Miriam Hechtman about the craft of writing songs, writing lyrics and what that all entails.

Join us this Thursday night at Woollahra Gallery. Bookings here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/poetica-petit-poetry-night-tickets-1979691802473
